Day 2: Giant Panda Breeding Center & Chengdu Tour

• Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Center is famous for the protection and breeding of endangered wild animals that are unique to China, including giant pandas and red pandas. 
• With a history of 3,000 years, the two main buildings of the Jinsha Site Museum are relics hall and exhibition hall, both of which adopt the form of the slope, symbolizing the rising of the Jinsha site. 
• Chengdu landmark: Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road
• Hot pot dinner

Day 3: Puzhao Temple & Dujiangyan Panda Base

Transfer to Mount Qingcheng

Day 4: Giant Panda Volunteer Experience

Arrival at Dujiangyan Base and preparation (icebreaking, Health and Safety notes, getting outfits, and personal belongings storage.)

• Panda Keeper Experience: Moving bamboos to giant panda enclosures under the guidance of staff, while listening to knowledge about the giant panda and the base. Collecting feces and food wastes of giant panda under guidance of staff and moving to designated places.
• Base Tour: Visit the Giant Panda Park to learn more about giant pandas and their living habits.
• Feeding Panda: wowotou (steamed corn bread), carrots and apple. Learning about panda food.
• Giant Panda Movies: Watching panda documentary, learning about panda protection (scientific feeding)
• Panda Dietitian: Nutritionist course for giant panda: making “Wowotou” (only for an experience not to feed)

Day 5: Giant Panda Volunteer Experience

• Panda Keeper Experience: Moving bamboos to giant panda enclosures under the guidance of staff, while listening to knowledge about the giant panda and the base. Collecting feces and food wastes of giant panda under guidance of staff and moving to designated places.
• Panda Behavior Observation: Leisurely pandas have a lot of interesting behaviors and body language, delivering complex messages.
• Feeding Panda: wowotou (steamed corn bread), carrots and apple. Learning about panda food.
• Giant Panda Movies: Watch movies on stories of friendship between giant pandas and human being, to raise the awareness of the protection of the wild.
• Cultural Products DIY: Use your imagination in clay pottery, drawings and any kinds of handicrafts on giant pandas.

Day 6: Giant Panda Volunteer Experience

• Gathering, instructions, and preparation
• Panda Keeper Experience: Moving bamboo, cleaning enclosures, and collecting panda feces. Learning about panda habits. Carrying panda feces to water-logged compost.
• Scientific analysis of giant panda feces
• Wrap-up and sharing; giant panda souvenirs
• Share the panda volunteer experience, receive the panda volunteering certificate.
• Visit the ancient town of Jiezi, learn about Chengdu teahouse culture, learn to play mahjong
